Andras originated in Zoroasrtian demonology as a daeva-- an emissary of Ahriman, the hypostasis of Druj [Evil, Destruction, Self-Determination, Witchcraft]. He was one of the highest ranked among Ahriman's emissaries and he ruled over warfare and combat. He was integrated into Hinduism as a celestial deity of war and lightning-- comparable in station to Marduk or Zeus. He appears in apocryphal Jewish mythology as one of the Grigori or Watchers who fell from Heaven to fornicate with humans and taught humankind all manner of trades. Andras taught mankind about combat, specifically the ways in which the skull may be crushed.
Andras is a psychopomp who can teach and empower necromancy, mind control, shapeshifting, the concealment of things, lethal and non-lethal execration, initiation, and workings which use death energy. Andras should only be summoned for important matters as he can be blunt, serious, dominant, intimidating, direct, and sometimes impatient. With that said, he is helpful and he does want what's best for the black magickian.
Andras is the father of Malphas. The two of them manifested alongside one another once recently to give me support and advice.
While Andras can sow discord, he can also reconcile ongoing conflicts by bringing them to culmination via confrontation. Andras imparts discretion and deception. He can cause countless manners of death and destruction and give one in an advantage in both violent non-violent conflict. He may completely uproot one's current identity or life to make way for new developments, and he can overthrow existing hierarchies and powers. He can help the sorceress self-initiate through the Trans-Sephirothic Labyrinth and Trans-Qliphothic Labyrinth alike (this is dangerous; seek guidance).
Traditional Goetic lore depicts Andras as an angel with the head of either an owl or raven with wings who rides a (sometimes black) wolf. The sword he carries is variously described as sharp, cruel, shining, or covered in purple fire. One source referred to it as a saber. One modern source replaced the sword with a golden assault rifle and a bomb strapped to the chest. A more recent depiction describes Andras as a tall, tan, black-haired, attractive biker/punk type with black and red eyes, and does not mention weaponry.
Andras can teach the art of combat. He can increase one's combative talents as well as physical fitness. He grants the witch the power to stand unshaken in the face of calamity. Andras can program the astral double for automatic unconscious astral projection. He augments one's psychic intuition and magickal memory.
Goetic lore purports that Andras may kill the celebrant, but Goetic lore espouses the intimidation, coercion, denigration, and threatening of demons-- he most likely will be kind to the black magickian who consensually evokes him. The provision in the traditional lore that he kills "the unwary" seems to solidify my opinion that he works to avoid being coerced and take revenge upon those who attempt to trap and coerce him. Some sources claim that Andras will also slaughter anyone else who is present for the ritual.
An RHP magickian told me that Andras is known to dominate other demons, and said that he never dares to evoke Andras without a circle. Obviously I have summoned Andras without protection and have not regretted it, as have so many of my sources.
Andras gets fast results, and it's said that he often does so at the expense of unwanted and unexpected outcomes. He rips the bandaid directly off-- you might not like it, but maybe you'll be better off. (My spirits are telling me that this paragraph describes the experiences of a few of my sources and should not be considered a consistent or even common trait of Andras's magick).

ReplyDeleteOne's ability to remember the information gained from gnostic interaction is often impaired by the heightened spiritual atmosphere which it occurs in.
ReplyDeleteSome practitioners say that different systems cannot fit together. After Andras found his new home here he, let's say, immediately coupled with Marinette, the Petro-Loa from Haitian Vodou. And then Shugara joined the company. Crazy crazy. Andras is a damn genius. He loves sour mil or Kefir with blood, cigars, scalpels. I remember being almost fully possessed: wide black pupils with no reaction to light. A very dominant lustful monk with an Irish-type of sword. A perfect teacher and guardian, you simply start to pierce through every situation.
ReplyDeleteAndras got upset with his wrong sigil in Gordon Winterfield's "Demons of Magick". He said it is one of the worst and most erratic books, especially the distorted sigils, written on Demonolatry. "The Goetia is not a Walmart!"...Good is to build a little coffin for him and place his items inside with a Haematite (Moonstone) to ground him properly. He loves money. Also one should have an interest in a Sadomasochistic relationship with him because he is not only resistent to exorcisms and dismissings but loves to share his consciousness. And you should avoid to present him modern technical devices, he is Oldschool. What is very characteristic for him is that his dispersion-circle is very small, he is one of those demons who will grant you a direct hit.

ReplyDeleteOh, and Andras, Andromalius, Azazel and Satan work closely together. The biggest difference between them and us humans is that they keep their promises. Andras can initiate into "daily affairs mysticism" or "Universe of the profane mysteries", you can experience the world as empty shell, husk that needs to be filled with your creation, your creative energy, he can completely alter the effects of medicines and narcotics, together with Uphir as masters of Chaos and reverse Chaos into order they are crowned champions, operating on the edge. Travis Magus worked closely with Andras and he recommended to not put overly much attention to all his statements because Andras loves to subjugate and torture, but on the other hand he can teach you real hardcore stuff. He is the big Sun-demon, not Sorath.
ReplyDeleteAndras, does bring FAST results, just within 2 hours of something I did. I felt so drained afterwards but when I laid down to regenerate my energy. Something happened. Basically, I was made aware of self destructive and weak behaviors and that I needed to be trained and he was willing to do that the training. I was really surprised, because I wasn't expecting a certain experience or appearance. Andras yes he is dominate, intimidating he comes across very much like a well trained warrior, etc. but what I noticed was when you invoke him and have a certain amount of intense energy like anger as the case was with me. All I can say is.... "holy shit!", I felt something energy of all that pent up emotions, feelings come up, and I felt a blind rage come on but was still in control and aware and directed it towards change. The thing is with Andras, or actually any geotia, when you approach with respect, they are much more pleasant to work with rather than in any way trying to coerce them or manipulate or what not. I would think this includes the Qlippoth even though you can use the energy in your space.
ReplyDeleteSo I had a different experience with Andras, he was really quiet but pleasant. I guess it depends on the intention you have when it comes to what you want to do. Basically what I wanted to do was fight back against something rather than a matter of simple revenge or discord. I did it in a place that I wanting to fight back against those that keeps enabling self destructive behaviors and learn self respect/determination. I am generally a nice person, but I definitely need skills.
