Paimon is the King of Noble Savagery and Guardian of the Depths and Subconscious. While primarily listed as a solar king of the Goetia, he has myriad alternative planetary and Qliphothic attributions which are largely unconsidered.

Paimon can increase the witch’s creativity, resourcefulness, quick-wittedness, etc., and he can empower the witch for the purpose of taming wild animals and simpletons. He can teach the witch to transform himself into a dark and horrific monster—a calculating juggernaut who’s always "on tick." He can teach the witch to disregard physical pain and avoid confrontation without cowardice.

Paimon

Paymon can teach the witch to become a great ascendant leader, influential person, or highly trusted adviser. He can transform the witch into a goddess by way of magick and teach the her to consecrate fire to make it even more spiritually potent. He specializes in art, science, and the occult, ruling self-initiation and the personal construction of an individual pathway of alchemical Becoming. He binds targets, teaches about alchemy, teaches the witch to understand her emotions and he provides assistance and guidance in creative pursuits and planning. He grants arcane knowledge about the earth, giving teachings useful for meteorologists and a geologists alike.

Paimonia teaches about natural sciences, all arts, psychology, and neurology. He grants rank-- he teaches all secret things and gives dignity to the undignified—“This means he can give you polish where you are uncouth." In addition to this, he proves your newly-attained dignity to any detractors. His auspices are apt for binding spells and he is known to give good familiars.

Paymon rules over charisma, honor, and art. His energy is aggressive and forthright, although he bestows the social skills required for influencing others. He has a very strong bond with Lucifer. He imparts a knowledge of alchemy and emotional understanding.

According to traditional demonography, Paimonia manifests after being preceded by a great orchestra. He is generally accompanied by two spirits: Beball/Bebal/Labal and Abalam/Abalim/Abali, both of whom are considered kings.

The traditional enn or summoning chant attributed to Paymon is "Linan Tasa Jedan Paimon." The chant "Paymon, Labal, Abalam" is useful for conjuring him alongside his two attendants. "Liftoach Pandemonium, Et Germinet Paimonia" translates to "Open the Infernal Plane, and Bring Forth Paimonia," and I use it to call him to me while presencing infernal-demonic (Qliphothic) energy.

Love how he puts them all together. Mine isn't as neat as his though.

  2. Excellent article. My approach to the discussion whether King Paimon is Azazel or how they maybe interfere etc. is via normal chemistry: let's say "The entity that includes King Paimon and Azazel is the element Phosphorus." This element has different modifications: white Phosphorus, red, violet, black, bright red. So King Paimon is one modification and Azazel is another. Azazel is very aggressive and toxic, so he is white Phosphorus etc. But still somehow it remains to believe that they are somehow the same. Anyway.

  3. I attempted an evocation of King Paimon, and would love some input from the experienced on this! Full disclosure, I performed this out of pure curiosity, and desire to explore the spiritual, but with no magickal talent or experience at all. Complete muggle. I performed the evocation and though I didn't see or hear or sense anything, I noticed a soft vibration start in my fingers, then grow stronger and spread through my whole body. It got to the point I could feel each individual mustache hair humming like a tuning fork. I made my request and ended the ritual. Can't say I got what I asked for, yet I can't get that vibration feeling out of my memory. Any insight? Do you think Paimon manifested? Did I mess up? Does Paimon just not like me? Was it that I'm not ready? Any input in appreciated!

P.S. The ritual was basically just me drawing the sigil, bleeding on it, and using chants from V.K.
