Purson teaches the witch to deceive, mislead, abandon, bamboozle, blindside, and shit-talk. He teaches the celebrant to become powerful in witchcraft as well as divination and grants her the ability to intuit facts. He teaches the witch to destroy people from the inside out and crush their social networks. He is deeply knowledgeable regarding natural scientists and may be communed with prior to scientific experimentation in order to ensure results.

Curson can teach the witch to create great art, so long as her heart is in it. Can teach the witch to destroy someone’s relationships and social confidence. He can teach you how to roast someone hardcore. He is skilled in theft and escape. He hides and reveals objects and notions alike and grants answers to questions regarding both the human and divine.

Purson gives aid in the discovery of treasures and communion with the shades of the dead. He brings about the witch’s attainment of knowledge by imparting insight and inspiration. His aptitude for the location of treasure can manifest in business opportunities attainable via networking, and he is known to be capable of revealing the thoughts of others.

According to Summoning Spirits by Konstantinos, Pursan is so wise as to seem pansophical, despite the fact that he can rarely answer specific questions regarding the future and appears to be limited to “random events” in his art of prophecy. Konstantinos claims him to be deeply knowledgable concerning history.

Curson grants good familiars. His summoners have described him as “fair” and “affable.” The traditional enn or summoning chant employed in rites to Curson is “Ana Secore On Ca Purson.” My chant is “Liftoach Pandemonium, Et Germinet Curson,” meaning “Open the Infernal Plane, and Bring Forward Curson.” I also use the chant "Pursan, Purson, Curson" to call upon him.

    Purson is a fallen angel, but he dislikes that aspect of himself and strives to root it out of himself.
