Vine is said to be all-knowing. He can impart revelations regarding matters of the past, present, and future alike, and he can reveal all manner of spiritual esoterica. Said to know all secrets, he brings about the exposure of hidden things. Vine begets initiatory knowledge to the sorcerer and guides her through the spirit realm to locate astral grimoires. He can ascertain which manners of sorcery are at work around the sorcerer and identify other practitioners of the Craft.

The auspices of Vine are useful for physical and spiritual warfare alike. He can bring about all manner of destruction, but he is most renowned for his ability to destroy the infrastructure of enemy forces and strike down the astral defense constructs of opposing sorcerers. He can build up physical infrastructure for militant forces and erect defensive astral infrastructure as well. He can destroy the enemies of the witch and defend her against malicious sorceries. He can assist designated war efforts in myriad other ways as well. He specializes in psychic protection, shields, wards, banishing, etc. He teaches self-defense and increases combative talents.

Vinea can conjure storms and cause the seas to rage. He can conjure up sea serpents and create egregores/thoughtforms which work to improve the physical health of their designated target(s) and increase longevity. He can engender healing and teach the witch to heal others as well. He can program the aura to protect one’s prana from psychic vampyres and alchemically alter the heart chakra in a way that it improves physical health. He can improve the physical fitness of the sorcerer.

Vinea can give the astral double a pair of horns which are useful in combat and can be used to control storm patterns (where storms move to) and he can empower the astral double’s eyes to see clearly in darkness. He also teaches the witch to shapeshift her astral double into a bat.

Vine is useful in divination—hydromancy, pyromancy, divining by storm, etc. His auspices are useful in death magick and he can act as a psychopomp.
