Samael: Devil, Demiurge, Angel, or Qlipha?
This article will be placed under the Adversarial Esotericism section of my website, meaning that it is a piece of advanced analysis of a depth unnecessary and unsuited for beginners. Read this if you will, but it will be confusing and unproductive from the standpoint of practical magick. Furthermore, these analyses are my responses to YouTube comments, and therefore comprise an incoherent essay(s) comprised of coherent points. My website will be most useful if you use the menu to find what you're looking for.
I refer to the particular metagod composed of Satan, Leviathan, Lucifer, Samael, etc. as the Devil with a capital D because is basically what he is. After communing with Aztec and Hecatean spirits at length, I have concluded based on their views of my metagod that he is the (Big) Devil. I only use "the Devil" to refer to this entity.
Satan and Lucifer are indeed "titles," technically speaking, but so are names like Baal and Elohim. The words Mammon, Rahab, Belial, and Abaddon are similarly used as legitimate names for specific entities, just as Daath and Yesod are different Hebrew words used to identify specific cosmic regions depending upon context. I do not consider titles such as these inadequate names, although I use other names like Lucibel, Lumial, Lumiel, Lucifero, and Asturel as other titles for the aspect of the Devil entitled Lucifer. I always use Satan to refer to the Devil, but I have seen two Aztec spirits (which spirits were emissaries of Tezatlipoca, Tlazolteotl, and Huitzilopochtli) proclaim "I am Satan" in identification with that principle represented by Satan. This principle with which they identified in these exclamations is that principle which has been semi-erroneously described (i.e. limited) by such descriptors as Sinister, Adversarial, Evil, Anti-Cosmic, Predatory, Faustian, Promethean, Antinomian, etc.
I know the name Samael is used for (i) the Highest Face of the Devil, (ii) the Demiurge, and (iii) an archangel. I use the name Amalek to refer to (i), as my guides have verified its propriety. The ToAF uses "Saklas" and other names given for (ii) in reference to (i), and while I initially gave them the side-eye for doing so, my guides told me that these names are indeed appropriate for (i).
So here's my SPECULATION about Samael, since I am certain of so much of what I said, but uncertain of the matters to follow. Perhaps (i) is the same entity as (ii) and (iii). Perhaps the height of his power and the greatness of the agency he exerts upon humanity is so great that he was considered a demiurge like Jehovah was, and perhaps he was held to be an archangel for the same reason that Azazel and/or Shaitan (i.e., Melek Taus) is considered the same entity as that spirit held to be the direct emissary of Allah by the Yezidi-- whatever that reason may be. To know this reason, I will have to become far more knowledgeable regarding both the agency which the Devil wields over humankind as a whole and the way that his acts are interpreted by different cultures.
If (i) is the same entity as (iii), we have two options. Either Samael has authority over both realms like Laylah does (my gnosis) and like Hecate does (according to Mark Allan Smith) or it is the Planetary Sphere of Mars that he has authority over, which planetary sphere would be known as Marid in Arabic, and which Planetary Sphere includes both the Qlipha and Sephira of Mars. Beats me.
Now for the Qlipa known as Samael (Mercury/Adramaleck). We know that Lilith rules the Qlipha of the Black Moon known as Gamaliel, we know that Nahemoth (Black Earth/Nehema) is often referred to by the name Lilith, and we know that Lilith's true throne is within Sathariel (Saturn/Lucerifuge). It is likely that (i) has the same relationship to the Qlipha known as Samael (Mercury/Adramaleck) that Lilith has to Nahemoth (Black Earth/Nahema), whatever that relationship may truly be. It is not far-fetched that Samael may have authority over Samael, because Lucerifuge has authority in Thagirion (Black Sun/Belphegor), Satan has authority in Ghagiel (Uranus/Baelzebuth), and Eisheth Zenunim has authority in both Thagirion (Black Sun/Belphegor) and Sathariel (Saturn/Lucerifuge). The extent, nature, and purpose of the authorities I have cited and speculated about is an enormous mystery.
Lastly, we address the relationship of Iblis/Shaitan to Azazel and which of them is truly Melek Taus. Well, my gnosis of a certain aspect of the Devil entitled Noctulius is that Noctulius is directly related to Lucifer and not directly related to Satan. Whatever the nature of Noctulius's direct relationship with Lucifer is, which relationship appears to be a significantly greater one-ness between the two than the one-ness between separate aspects of the Devil like Azazel and Satan, is possibly the nature of Shaitan/Iblis's relationship with Azazel, which would make them two manifestations of the singular aspect also known as Melek Taus. This relationship would be likely identical to the relationship that Apollo has with his lupine manifestation (Lycoctonos) and his manifestation in the 7FW (Sauroctonos), in that they are the different manifestations of the same aspect.
I have provided many answers and many guesses. It will take a long period of time for me to have all the answers, but if my goals are met, I should have whole or partial answers to all of these questions within less than a year and a half.
The following paragraph was a response to a comment saying that the name Satan can or should be used as an appropriate title for Loki and other deities non-identical with the Satan of Thaumiel, which Satan of Thaumiel is separate from the other aspects of the Devil (namely Azazel & Lucifer) attributed to Thaumiel.
It is disadvantageous for a native English speaker to use the name/word Satan to refer to entities such as Beelzebub, Belial, and Loki because we, as native English speakers, do not use ha-satan as a word to signify any given adversary. What you are doing here is using Satan as if it were no different from the title ha-satan, but only using it to refer to given deities, and thereby using the name Satan as simultaneously interchangeable and non-interchangeable with the title ha-satan. You are using a title in a way that is cannot actually be useful. I never bitch at people for using the words Satan, Lucifer, etc. differently from the way that I do unless it is a direct response to what I have said on my platform.

Within about 6 paragraphs, you have enough gnosis, conjuncture and suppositions to cover about 2 rather dense chapters in a book. Respect!!!
ReplyDeleteHow have I only just found your website!!!! A search for info on Lady Unsere and an hour later I am still immersed in your posts. I look forward to your published works!
ReplyDeleteSamael was very kind to me, not harsh. He explained the "Poison of God" what made perfect sense. He is indeed both, Archdemon and Archangel with exact the same up-vector and down-vector. It was great.
